Smoked salmon with ISH is delicious on its own. But if you want to ‘dress it up’ or create a different type of hors d’oeuvres, this will really wow them… Cut 8 oz smoked salmon into pieces and put in food processor. Once salmon is somewhat ‘minced’, add 8 oz (1 bar) of cream cheese and process further. When thoroughly blended, add 8 oz mascarpone cheese and process again. Add 4-5 Tbsp of Ginger (or Citrus) ISH, 2 ½ Tbsp minced scallion, and 4 Tbsp fresh dill (chopped); blend further. Add fresh lemon juice (3/4 lemon), blending till even & smooth throughout. Serve at room temperature with crackers, sliced French bread, thick-cut potato chips, or celery sticks.
If possible, make 10-12 hours before serving.
